What it is
The 944 predates touchscreens by four decades, so the dash had no place for navigation. This is a 3D-printed ABS housing for the center dash that fits a motorcycle CarPlay unit like it belonged there.
How it’s built
Modeled in Fusion 360 against measurements of the original dash opening, printed in ABS for heat tolerance, finished and fitted to the car. See the garage log for the install.
What broke
TODO: first-print fit issues, heat warping, whatever actually went wrong.
